CISD Weather Update

❄️ Weather Update_ Closure Notice – Comfort ISD ❄️

Safety is the top priority of Comfort ISD. In light of the extreme cold, continued hazardous icy conditions, and overnight freezing temperatures, CISD has made the decision to prioritize the safety of our students, staff, and community.

Out of an abundance of caution, all District offices and schools will be closed on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.

Note: Friday, February 6, 2026 will be a Bad Weather Make-up Day. All students, faculty, and staff will follow a regular school day schedule on February 6, 2026.
