CISD is required to send notice to our school families and community members reminding them that today, April 2, 2026, the State of Texas will perform a statewide drill of the Public Warning System between 10:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

The drill will involve sirens, wireless emergency alerts on phones, and emergency broadcasts over radio. If you hear or see an alert today, please know this is just a drill, and should not disrupt the instructional day. Thank you for helping CISD keep safety as our top priority.
