Dear CISD Families and Community:
Comfort ISD is closely monitoring weather conditions throughout the day as the safety of students and staff remains our top priority.
In consultation with the National Weather Service and local emergency partners, current reports indicate rain will lessen this afternoon.
Out of an abundance of caution, the following adjustments have been made:
- JV and Middle School football games scheduled for this evening, October 1st, have been cancelled.
- Comfort’s Daycare, Storybook Early Learning Academy, is closed today; all CES students who take CISD transportation to Storybook Early Learning Academy will need parent/guardian pick up at CES or call the school to arrange a secondary drop-off location only if a secondary address is currently on file.
As with any weather event, please use caution when traveling.
CISD is committed to sharing updates as needed through our website and social media channels.
We are grateful for our Comfort community and appreciate everyone’s care and cooperation.
